Eyefinity
A billing interface to VSP has been completed and is now available in Enterprise 5.0. Available in OD Professional Foundations, the VSP interface provides new functionality for electronic, direct-from-the software VSP authorizations, claim submissions and lab orders. While lab invoices may be submitted using Foundations only, the use of Visions 5.0 is required for lab order submission. Non-VSP authorizations and claims may also be submitted via VSP.
EyeconX
PatientManager (nee EyeconX) is a patient relationship management (PRM) solution, available as a standalone online service but integrated into OD Professional as a two-way interface. See a demo at https://www.eyeconx.com/ecp.asp . PatientManager adds significant efficiency for the doctor and practice. Patients are automatically registered when the email address is added to the OD Professional patient file. A welcome letter from the practice provides each patient with a personalized web page on which he/she may add personal information, family history, eyecare interests & hobbies that create a patient profile. The profile is then directly accessible from ActionManager at Front Desk, the doctor's private office handler or in the Exam lane .
SpeedMiner
OD Professional 5.0 optionally integrates the award winning InterSystems SpeedMiner Business Intelligence (BI) solution, which has been specially tailored for OD Professional in a version we call ActionTracker .
